Saw someone post this earlier today and I realized that I’ve been fighting off a funk all week. Today I can actually feel it. I think I need to go for a run, or think happy thoughts. @higherthanthesoulcouldhope my favorite happy thought. I know my funks only last a day or two at max once they set in. Batteries need to be recharged.

By this time tomorrow I will have either finished running my first leg or will be still running through the mean streets of Corona. The streets and neighborhoods that were actually orange groves when I lived there as a kid.
Tonight I will pick up the van, pack for the relay, and hopefully get a good night’s sleep. Meeting time is at 6 in the morning and we have a start time of 7:30.
I look forward to a very tasty beer or three by Stone Brewery after the race ends on Saturday afternoon.
Best of luck to all the other runners. Fuel up and hydrate hydrate hydrate, but most of all have fun!
